Immigration Evaluations

Immigration psychological evaluations provide objective clinical documentation that may strengthen immigration petitions by describing the psychological impact of an individual's experiences and current circumstances. These evaluations are completed with clinical accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and a trauma-informed approach.

Dr. Mauro conducts comprehensive immigration evaluations for a variety of immigration matters, including:

  • Extreme Hardship Waivers (I-601 / I-601A)
  • Asylum
  • Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
  • U Visa
  • T Visa
  • N-648 Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions

Each evaluation includes a comprehensive clinical interview, review of relevant documentation, psychological assessment when appropriate, and a detailed written report tailored to the specific legal referral question. Reports are prepared using evidence-based clinical practices and written in clear, professional language that can be understood by attorneys, adjudicators, and immigration officials.

Dr. Mauro works collaboratively with attorneys throughout the evaluation process while maintaining clinical objectivity and independence.
