Dr. Sabina Mauro is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in trauma recovery, PTSD, anxiety, and the emotional impact of overwhelming or life-altering events. She brings over a decade of experience helping individuals rebuild safety, resilience, and a deeper sense of self.
Dr. Mauro earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in 2014 from Marywood University and has worked almost exclusively with trauma survivors since 2013.
She completed both her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) in Philadelphia — a nationally recognized trauma treatment center — and later continued there as a staff psychologist.
In 2018, she founded her private practice to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy in a warm, empowering environment.
Dr. Mauro is bilingual in Polish and English, licensed in Pennsylvania, and a PSYPACT provider, offering therapy to clients across participating U.S. states via telehealth.
